Well, my quest to start playing hockey is still alive and well. I didnt make it to lastnights introduction to hockey at Ice Town, but I have been doing a lot of research. I wanted to know how to properly fit ice skates and during my search for the answer, I found Ice Hockey Skate Buying Demystified written by puckmugger.
His article goes into great depth and gives me a firm understanding on what to look for and how the skates should feel. He brings up great things to consider when searching for ice skates.
