The art of being Brilliant

So I was stumbling along and came across Red Square (http://noc.co.il/red.html) where the idea of the game is to keep the red block off the wall, and keep the blue shapes from hitting it. I got 18.89 seconds. I guess thats good. Brilliant even.

My Credit / Debt Ratio…

My goal this year is to completely eliminate all of my debt.  In the past, I’ve been pretty careless with my credit cards, not really thinking long term. If I wanted it, I got it. I did this on several items that I could have saved for, but was so emotionally wrapped up in getting that I just charged it. The beginning of this year was the end of that. I’m tired of living paycheck to paycheck, I’m doing something about it. So as of writing this I have reduced my debt by 25% from January 1. It may not seem like much, but this is just he start of the snowball. The more my partner Ricky and I gain understanding of it all, the more we can bite off.

This is where I currently stand:

Credit/Debts:

1100/0
3000/1956.43
2000/672.53
1400/822.20
____________
7500/3451.16

or about 46% Credit to Debt ratio… Thats a lot better then where I was at the beginning of the year. I just have to keep pushing forward, and keep reading Get Rich Slowly, No Credit Needed and other personal finance blogs.

Sigur Rós — When I first heard of them…

Ricky and I were sitting around about 5 and a half years ago, listening to music. He played me some of this and that, and when Sigur Ros came on, I didn’t really know what to think. At first, I was kinda like whatever since it was like nothing I’ve ever heard before, but the more and more I listened to it, the more the music touched me. I fell in love with it.

During our road trip up CA-1, we listened to Sigur Ros almost exclusively. It was amazing. Being in the beauty of our surroundings, with such beautiful music, being with such a beautiful person.. it was, well, beautiful.

A random little update

So I was screwing around with my phone and cheking out the photos on it. So I decided to make a little phone camera post…

First, here is a plant that Ricky gave me. Its a Mother-In-Laws-Toung or something like that. Ricky made the little pot its in and all. How cool is that?…

Second, me. Just a random shot of me at work:

The end…

Its awesome waking up to a nice plate of SPAM!

So I get to work, open my Outlook to check this mornings email, and what do I see?
Spam

Yeah, thats right… 8433 emails.. all of which 3 are actual emails and the rest are spam. Love it.

So after 45 minutes, all the email was delivered and on the very next Send/Receive I get the next batch:

More Spam

So I turned off the Catch-All feature to see if that helps… Here’s to hoping.  =)
