I pulled the pan this weekend and its smelled horrible. So I called the company up and they are going to refund me 75% of the cost. Damnit.  Oh well, I guess thats the risk I took buying this transmission used from some place. Lesson learned.  So now I have to drive 85 miles out there to get my money back (at least part of it).  Sucks. Hopefully my truck will be fixed soon. Heres to hoping.

I had to think about what R&R was, but I got it after a couple of seconds. Removal and Reinstall. This guy is a Certified Dodge Transmission Tech, so I assume he knows what hes doing. It comes with a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty. I’m feeling really comfortable with this so far.

But here’s the thing. I have a Transmission sitting at my parents house that I can throw in the truck. I have no idea if its any good, but It has warranty. So what I’m thinking about doing, is having this guy swap transmissions in the truck. So that would only be $300. We’ll see.
